How does ScreamTrap detect someone?

ScreamTrap uses motion activation to detect movement near your setup and trigger the selected sound.

Can I upload my own sounds?

Yes. The core idea is simple: motion triggers the sound, and you choose the MP3.

What audio format does it use?

ScreamTrap is built around MP3 playback. Use compatible MP3 files for your Halloween setup.

Where can I place it?

Use it near a front door, hallway, party entrance, stairs, shop entrance or Halloween display. Keep the setup indoors or covered.

Can I adjust the volume?

Yes. ScreamTrap has adjustable volume, so you can set it for the space.

How is it powered?

Final public power wording will be confirmed before launch. The current supplier reference shows battery use, but this should be verified before publishing final claims.

Does the £1 offer include the physical device?

No. The £1 offer is digital early access: 10 Halloween MP3 sounds, VIP early access and a 15% launch discount for the physical kit. The physical ScreamTrap Motion Kit is not shipped immediately.

When will the physical kit be available?

The physical ScreamTrap Motion Kit is planned from 15 October.

Are Halloween bats included?

No. Bat decor is optional and only included when selected as a separate add-on or upgrade.

What comes with the Motion Kit?

The planned kit includes the black ScreamTrap motion sound device, USB cable, remote control, mounting bracket, screws / adhesive pad and instruction leaflet. Final included accessories should be confirmed before publishing.
